Affirmations From Me to You

One thing my husband Cool Blu and I have been practicing heavy since 2020 is speaking over each other lives in positive and powerful ways. In short… Affirmations. In honor of that, we wanted to share letters that we wrote to each other with affirmations, we want for one another. Everyone needs reassurance once in a while and it helps to know that your loved one wants the absolute best for you.  We hope this inspires you to do this with your loved one, you may be surprised at what they affirm for you.

I want you to have the best that life has to offer. I hope that your positive, infectious energy continues to attract like-minded individuals in your personal bubble. I pray that your MUA skills puts you on unimaginable levels of success. I want you to take chances and trust your gut more. Create opportunities for women like you’ve been planning to do.

Allow your confidence to shine bright no matter who takes offense. Use your platform to elevate your mission. Continue to model at the beat of your own drum. Create handbags, collaborate with fashion brands on your bucket list. Travel the world and change the negative stereotypes facing women of color. Offer a listening ear to the voiceless. Be a shining example of what black entrepreneurship looks like coming out of Baltimore. 

Create traditions, be inspired continuously. Love your skin and spread your wings wide for all to see.
